Rundholz Long Tunic Cotton Voile
100% Cotton Voile “Cold Dyed”
With Cold Dyeing you can create special oily or grubby looking batik or vintage effects on ready-made clothing items. The dyeing method is also called cold dyeing as it is carried out without heating at ambient temperature. The ready-made apparels are shortly dipped into a cold dye liquor, which contains color pigments and binder.
Often the dyeing process is made by hand or in a washing machine in a quick “cold dye bath”. The pigments connect with the fiber irregularly - not as evenly as with normal "hot" dyeing.
